Watershed Collaborative August Gathering

The GSA has recently declared our medium priority basins are now high priority from over-pumping of our aquifers which has gone on for years. If you’re concerned  about our water future, please plan on attending. We need to protect our watersheds!

Ask interested parties to email Virginia.mahacek@sonoma-county.org  to be added to the invitee list so they can receive details, agenda & materials.
This is likely the last formal meeting of the Watershed Collaborative under its existing configuration, so our agenda will feature   two important elements:
1.       Input to the draft R&R Framework [a final draft of which will go to the Board of Supervisors in September]
2.       Outcomes and Outgrowths discussion [a self-determination exercise!]
The agenda will also include updates on recovery status, preparedness for winter 2018-19, initiatives, funding needs and requests, etc.   Send me agenda requests over the next couple of weeks, as I will likely circulate the agenda about Aug 15 th.
