Come one, come all to talk about “What is next following the narrow Measure C defeat?”
YOU’RE INVITED TO THIS DISCUSSION. PLEASE BRING SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR HOME AND ULTIMATELY WANTS TO PROTECT THE EARTH! MANY OF YOU ASK, ‘WHAT CAN I DO? HOW CAN I HELP?’ IT IS OUR GENERATION THAT HAS TO BE EVER VIGILANT PROMOTING WATERSHED HEALTH AS AN EXAMPLE TO THE WORLD OF WHAT CAN BE DONE IF YOU TRY AND TRY AGAIN TO PROTECT THE EARTH FROM EXTRACTION PRACTICES THAT HARM CLIMATE. THAT IS WHY THE MEASURE C MOVEMENT NOW SHIFTS TO ANOTHER SUSTAINED EFFORT UNTIL WE SUCCEED AT PROTECTION FOR OUR WATERSHEDS, OUR LIFE BOAT, THAT CARRIES US THROUGH ALL.
We have heart, insight, and resolve to live in a safe and sustainable community that protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public good. Napa’s clean air and water are in jeopardy from runaway tourism and rapacious vineyard and winery development. Therefore, we endeavor to continue to build the momentum of Measure C. This meeting is to learn about what went wrong in the Measure C campaign, what we did right, how we continue to build momentum, and what comes next.
