We invite you to a community workshop on May 22, 2019
How a Changing Climate could affect Groundwater (and what we’re doing about it).
This public workshop will focus on the future of local groundwater in a changing climate — and how new groundwater
sustainability plans can help. While the information is targeted at the Boards and Advisory Committees of local
groundwater agencies, anyone interested in groundwater issues and adapting to a changing climate should attend.
Presenters include:
Lorraine E. Flint, Ph.D, and Alan L. Flint, Ph.D Research hydrologists, California Water Science Center, USGS
Jay Jasperse, Chief Engineer and Director of Groundwater Management, Sonoma Water
Paul Wells, Manager, Water Management Branch, North Central Region, Department of Water Resources
