Map Your Neighborhood Program July 22nd class for safety

Simplified neighborhood disaster preparedness class on July 22nd
at Graton Fire Station at 3750 Grav Hway N from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
The “Map Your Neighborhood Program”
(MYN) provides 9 easy steps to identifying and
organizing neighborhood needs, skills and steps necessary to protect lives and property in
your neighborhood. Participants also receive guidance on introducing the MYN Program into
their neighborhood and basic collateral materials needed to connect with your neighbors.
As we saw during the time of the fires in October 2017, it was neighbors helping neighbors that
made a huge difference in saving lives. The Map Your Neighborhood Program is designed to
help each of us to be more aware of proven basic protective actions to make an even bigger
difference next time.
The Map Your Neighborhood Program primarily focuses on residential neighborhoods but is
easily adapted to more rural areas also. Residents in the immediate area of Graton are
encouraged to attend.
