The appeal hearing for a Mitigated Negative Declaration for 334 Purvine Road will be held at 9am on Monday September 30th in front of the Board of Supervisors Room 102-A  

These are the people who brought in buses with tourists for canna-tourism and advertised nationally with no permits. Property is next to homes with small children.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN APPEAL OF ACANNABIS CULTIVATION USE PERMIT
WHO: The Board of Supervisors will consider an appeal filed by Kevin Block for No Pot on Purvine, Phoebe Lang, Ayn Garvisch, and Britt Jensen of a decision of the Sonoma County Board of Zoning Adjustments , adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and granting a commercial cannabis cultivation Use Permit requested by Sam Magruder, Managing Member for Petaluma Hills Farm, LLC

WHAT: The  hearing is to consider an appeal to the Board of Zoning Adjustments decision to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration and grant a use permit for a cannabis operation consisting of 8,096 square feet of mixed light/greenhouse cultivation, 2,880 square feet of indoor cultivation, and 28,560 square feet of outdoor cultivation, for a total cultivation area of 39,536 square feet (less than one acre/43,560 square feet), 4,080 square feet of indoor propagation, and processing of site grown cannabis.
On site processing would consist of trimming, drying, curing, weighing, and packaging. Proposed hours of operation for cultivation, indoor processing, and outdoor harvesting are 24 hours per day, seven days per week, as needed. Outdoor processing, deliveries, and shipping would be limited to 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The operation would employ up to 10 full time positions

The project is located on a 37.02 acre parcel at 334 Purvine Road, Petaluma , APN 022230020.
Supervisorial District 2.
Zoning on the parcel is Land Extensive Agriculture 100 acre density, Accessory Dwelling Unit Exclusion (LEA B6 100, Z).
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider the appeal and the Mitigated Negative Declaration
in which all interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments.
A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared for the project, which determined that all potential impacts can be mitigated to a less than significant level. The project was approved with Conditions, and the Mitigated Negative Declaration was adopted by the Board of Zoning
Adjustments at a public hearing, after directing staff to substitute certain mitigation measures and add clarifying language to the
Mitigated Negative Declaration. No recirculation is required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.

9:00am on Monday September 30, 2019, Board of Supervisors meeting room 102A,  Sonoma County Administration Building, 575
Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California.
