Think back to 50 years ago
NO Environmental Protection Agency
NO Clean Air Act
NO Clean Water Act

Times have changed, but for years, climate scientists sounded the alarm on the health of our environment and what was to come. The world didn’t take immediate action and now, climate change is one of the greatest threats to our planet.

While we can’t physically be together this Earth Day, you can still make a difference. Here are three ways you can take action and fight the climate crisis.

  • Join Earth Day Live. This 72-hour livestream will include performances, training sessions, and a wide range of events designed to engage, inform, and inspire.
  • Become One with Nature. Learn how to be a Backyard Botanist and foster a deeper connection with your neighborhood ecosystem, and the native plants we need to protect. Post on social with #EarthDay2020 #BayBackyardBotanist.
  • Make an Earth Day Contribution. Every dollar raised will help Save The Bay build climate smart solutions for a healthy and resilient Bay.

In this time of uncertainty, Save The Bay has not stopped its fight against climate change. Together, we must take local action to mitigate the effects of climate change during this crisis and after it passes.

This Earth Day, take action and help create a better Bay for future generations

Stay healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

David Lewis
