Hello all who are interested in this issue, Benzinger’s application is scheduled for August 12 at 8:30 a.m. right before the Guthrie’s grower. Attached is the public notice for Benzinger. Notice he has a new planner Kumail Raza. This is another test case for park setbacks. Share with all.

NOTICE OF A SONOMA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A CANNABIS USE PERMIT

This Notice of Virtual Public Hearing was issued during the Sonoma County Shelter in Place order. Additional accommodations and digital file review are available

WHO: Project Applicant Mike Benzinger, representing Glentucky Family Farms, LLC Permit Sonoma File No. UPC17-0012

WHAT: A five-year limited-term Conditional Use Permit for 1,968 square feet of outdoor cannabis cultivation (up to 50 plants) and 500 square feet of indoor cultivation to be located within a total cultivation area of 2,468 square feet with on-site processing on a 7.74-acre parcel located at 2211 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen. APN 054-040-091. Supervisorial District 1.

Parcel Zoning: Land Intensive Agriculture (LIA) 60-acre density, Local Guidelines Combining District LG/MTN (Taylor/Sonoma/Mayacamas Mountains), and Scenic Resources Combining District (SR) (Scenic Landscape Unit).

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hold a virtual public hearing to consider adopting a Categorical Exemption and an action approving a Conditional Use Permit in which all interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments. Members of the Public May Not Attend this Meeting in Person.

Permit Sonoma has determined that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 15301 and Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines which provides exemption for existing facilities and new construction or conversion of small strictures.

WHEN: August 12, 2020 at 8:30 AM, In accordance with Executive Orders N-33-20 and N-29-20, this meeting will be conducted via videoconference only without a physical location from which members of the public may observe and offer public comment. Members of the public may watch, listen, and participate in the hearing through Zoom or by phone or submit written comment prior to the hearing as described below. In accordance with Executive Orders N-25-20 and N-29-20 the hearing will be held online.
