The SoCoAlert and Code Red warnings coming to our phones today have, at times, shown old evac warnings. It is a glitch being addressed right now.
PLEASE REVIEW ANY ALERT OR WARNING THAT COMES TO YOU FOR DATE, TIME AND LOCATION.
Valid Alert and Warnings are also coming through. Review the details and check the particulars BEFORE acting. The SoCo DEM Alert and Warning department is investigating the issue.

It seems the high humidity overnight really helped in regards to minimal expansion of the fires and evacuation zones during the night. That has, obviously, changed this morning regarding the evac zones with the sun arriving again. Go to SoCoemergency.org for evac updates and a plethora of details about our current situation – dig around that site, it’s very informative.
From recent state and local updates that you may have heard already, there will be more state resources applied to SoCo as the day progresses. It’s going to get warm again but no PSPS is expected over the next several days.
The less encouraging news is more dry thunderstorms are expected on Sunday through Tuesday.
