The last week of this very strange year’s very strange legislative session is about to start. There’s a good chance we can make some significant strides in environmental protection if three important Assembly bills pass.
Your state Senator holds the key to success.

Together, these bills will improve indoor air quality and energy efficiency in schools, accelerate electric vehicle charging infrastructure, set up a game-changing new way for all Californians to get access to electric vehicles, and further protect California’s waters from oil spills.
AB 841 (Ting) transfers unused funds for energy efficiency to energy efficiency and plumbing improvement projects at public schools. It also expedites Public Utilities Commission activity directed at accelerating installation of vehicle charging infrastructure. AB 326 (Muratsuchi) opens the way for an innovative program that allows electric vehicle manufacturers to directly lease EVs to consumers, significantly reducing financial hurdles for potential EV drivers. AB 3214 (Limón), updates the current criminal penalties for companies that knowingly cause oil spills or failed to take actions that they knew would have prevented an oil spill into state waters. Please call Senator McGuire at (916) 651-4002 today and urge a YES vote on AB 841, AB 326 and AB 3214. You can say: “Hi, my name is (insert your name) and I’m a constituent.
