The face of ag department ministerial permits (not a good idea)

Neighbors respond to ministerial permits for controversial Bloomfield project

The ministerial cannabis application in Bloomfield is so controversial that Supervisor Rabbitt has scheduled a zoom meeting for Monday, the 11th at 5:30 p.m. Bloomfield is the poster child for the future of cannabis in Sonoma County. Making all cannabis applications ministerial is the proposed change to the Cannabis ordinance. Ministerial applications are processed by Staff and do not offer the opportunity for the public to seek revisions on a specific project. There is no nod to neighborhood compatibility with a ministerial application. Rabbitt’s letter to the core leaders of the Bloomfield opposition is below. You must RSVP for the town hall meeting by contacting Tina Thomas who will send you a confirmation email and agenda prior to the meeting. The link to the meeting is highlighted below. We think it will work on the 11th but probably best to RSVP Thomas.

If you would like to read and sign Bloomfield’s petition, here is the link again. You do not need to be a resident of Bloomfield to support them.
