Action Alert: Napa County is trying to decommission a landfill and waste management site here in Upper Napa Valley.

Napa County is trying to decommission a landfill and waste management site here in Upper Napa Valley.  There is a litany of environmental issues in addition to fire risk and PFAS contamination.

A local neighborhood group is suing the landfill and recycling operator in the up valley area.  They too are looking to decommission the landfill and get competitive bidding for the waste management in the upvalley area.  The petition has over 200 signatures at this point.

We were wondering if you might consider signing and sharing it with others on social media and in email lists.  It sounded like there were some landfill issues over in Sonoma County, if you know any contacts over there it would be great to connect with them.

Signers for the petition do not have to be local and their names only show up if they post a comment.
They have also created a website.
Separately a short trailer/video was put together by a local videographer.  Please find the links below.
