Forest Unlimited: Volunteers Wanted🌳
Forest Unlimited Supporters,
Our organization has mostly completed this year’s annual redwood seedling plantings planting over 3,000 redwoods in five properties around Sonoma County with the help of over a hundred volunteers like yourselves.Â
We couldn’t have done the scale of this undertaking without your help and dedication. So thank you, thank you!
But the issue is not about us but about what is needed in these times. We support all of these efforts including one coming up this weekend in the Petaluma area. So please consider helping out with this effort.
Regarding reforestation efforts and urban tree plantings, I do want to clarify to our supporters that we are aware, as you probably are, that saving our forests, woodlands, and mature trees is much more critical than planting new trees. Forest Unlimited’s mission is to protect first with the addition of enhancement by restoration efforts. We are working on this critical issue of protection through education, policy engagement, and coordination of our efforts with other organizations to gain more influence for greater impact.
As always, we appreciate your support and feedback on any of our issues.
Thank you.
