To serve and protect. That’s what I was taught as a young cadet in the police academy and that’s what I’ve been doing my entire career. As a public safety officer, as a small business owner, as a father.

Today I’m officially announcing that I’m running for Fifth District County Supervisor to serve local residents and businesses while protecting our rivers and coastline. I will bring a different leadership style to county government. I know how to listen, ask pointed questions and make tough decisions. We live in one of the best places on Earth and I intend to keep it that way.

I have been serving and protecting Sonoma County throughout my career. I started as a Rohnert Park Public Safety Officer serving in the unique role of both police officer and firefighter. For the past 20 years, I’ve built a successful private security and investigations firm which protects people and organizations across Sonoma County and the North Bay. Now I’m running to serve and protect Sonoma County in a new capacity: as our Supervisor.

So many of you have already thanked me for taking this step. You know how much we need new leadership at the County — on homelessness, schools, roads, funding for disaster preparedness — our community’s needs are simply not being met.

I am running to deliver results for the Fifth District. I will be a County Supervisor who listens first, to the people who live and work here, and know this area best. After hearing from everyone involved, I will make the hard decisions that follow to improve the lives of everyday people.
