Here’s your chance to honor the Sonoma County environmentalists whose work you most admire.
Initiated in 1975, for environmental activism within Sonoma County, this award recognizes the inspirational legacy of Ernestine I. Smith, awardee in 1980, and her generation of trail-blazing environmental leaders. “Environmentalist of the Year” honors current activists of all ages.
SCCC will be honoring awardees at the Environmental Awards webinar December 6, and in person at the SCCC/Sierra Club Holiday Networking Party on December 8, 2023.
