Wine & Water Watch is ceasing operations as of August. We are proud of our accomplishments. Several pesticide groups have been spawned by our work over the years. We worked tirelessly on the Local Coastal Plan, educated our community to promote the working of environmentally sound land policies and protecting our water resources.

The gaslighting of the public by the wine industry has finally caught up to their disingenuous practices. Abuses of the industry’s “sustainability” programs, over pumping aquifers, pesticide use, over planting and more have caused their own decline.

We appreciate all the support over the years from members and fellow nonprofits. We hope the next generations complete the work. Stay active and do what you can for the betterment of the planet. Every act makes a difference.
